Financial Foundations: A Graduate Student Financial Literacy Series
Build the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions—both during graduate school and throughout your career.
Financial Foundations is a six-part workshop series designed specifically for graduate students preparing for life beyond their degree. Each one-hour session is led by a professional with expertise in the featured topic, providing practical guidance, real-world strategies, and opportunities to ask questions in a supportive environment. Topics include: budgeting and financial planning, negotiating salary and benefits, home/condo purchasing, investing basics and retirement planning.

Graduate Student Writing Support Group Learning Outcomes:
Students who attend the Graduate Student Writing Support Group will be able to:
- Create a plan for writing their theses.
- Describe their writing behaviors and how it is impacted by their lifestyle.
- Determine at least one way they can adjust their writing strategy, including but not limited to developing realistic writing goals.
